for those who are looking for something different, try walking up and down king street in newtown. it has every type of cuisine you could think of, lots of antique and boutique shops, interesting people. i hope the place stays the same. i love it!

A fantastic place to visit in Sydney -- delightful cafes, gorgeous cheap restaurants, very LGBTQI friendly, awesome neighbourhood! What's not to love... bring a camera along - great for street art and people watching! Lovely parks in and around Newtown...or go for a walk to Erskineville which is equally lovely (but a lot less busy!)
A bit from central city is Newtown, an older village that is now part of Greater Sydney. Lovely historic buildings and the scene for many movies.
I visited Enmore last Saturday for a record launch at the Cat Protection Society Op Shop. I always make sure that I have a walk along King Street whenever I am over that way. Love King Street.
It is a cool place enjoyed all the Restaurants and shops. It was great to walk around and see small businesses and let’s of people. Had a good dinner on the street watching people.
Some good cafes, eateries, interesting secondhand shops etc, a long street (can get a bit hot in the summer) with something for everyone and every taste. The grafitti is excellent. Living ART
