Owner description: Secluded beaches, quiet coves and soaring headlands predominate this harbor, which is considered one of the world's most beautiful.

Sydney Harbour is breathtaking. It has so many picturesque inlets and bays and the fabulous Harbour Bridge and Opera House are just the icing on the cake! There are lots of walks, restaurants, cruises etc as well.

The place is vibrant - always something happening. We walked around Circular Quay during 'Vivid Sydney' and watched the sails of the Opera House illuminated with fabulous lights and shapes.

The many and varied ferries are not only practical but are an integral feature of the Harbour. There are many beautiful places in the world but no harbour can touch Sydney's!

the perfect place to really capture those beautiful touristy snaps of Sydney and even of Australia. You can capture the Bridge and the Opera House in the one photo. you can also view the beautiful coast line and see the harbour filled with sailing boats. A first stop for all Sydney tourists.

My friends and I went to Sydney a few month ago and we visited to Sydney Harbour. It was a beautiful place for tourists. We took many photos around Harbour and see it at night... very nice! Sydney Bridge looked like a rainbow with many lights. In Sydney Harbour you can see the Opera House, Sydney Bridge,...

A beautiful spot to view in your Australia journey

We really enjoyed our day on the Sydney Sundancer 54' yacht, eating a wonderful array of the freshest seafood and salads imaginable, after a relaxing swim in a secluded bay. We felt as if we were the only people in this city of 5 million! They do weddings too, and I cannot imagine a better place to celebrate a memorable moment. Do yourself a favour and de-stress on this yacht.

Sydney Harbour is big - it is actually containing with Port Jackson, which is 19 kilometres long and has an area of 55 square kilometres.
But enough boring facts - Sydney Harbour is fun! They call Auckland the city of sails, but I think Sydney is a close 2nd. With ferries traversing the water on prescribed routes, anyone can get on the water and enjoy. Yachts of all shapes and sizes, and boats from small dingy's to luxury jetboats compete for clear water. Just being out on the water is exciting. On a clear day, of course, there is nothing like it!
So many of Sydneys famous sites are based around or on the water. Getting out onto the bay is the way to go!
