Bondi beacyis very close to the central city of Sydney. If you want to visit with short time you could. Bus are available to visit this place. To me it seems over rated.

Tamarama beach is more quiet and easier to swim in, but Bondi Beach is the place to be to people watch and hang out. The Bucket list restaurant is a great place to eat. The beach is beautiful.

What’s a gorgeous beach with nonstop waves and surfing and sea kayaking action There’s a beautiful hike from bondi to cover beach that gives cove after cove of beaches to see. What a gem of a beach. Shops and dining galore

Easily accessible from Central Sydney via bus, about half an hour. Nice mural and rocks at the north end, and the start of the coastal walk to Coogee at the south. It’s an iconic beach, must do when in Sydney but no nicer then any of the other beaches.

Wide sand and just a beautiful place, worth spending a day when the weather is calm. The water seemed to be shallow for a fair amount and the waves not too crazy, which allowed for some fun water time
