“Not the best, but still good”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

I wouldn't say Bondi is an extremely special beach. It is rather the surrounding with the Promenade and the laid-back surf culture feeling you get which will impress you. Nevertheless I would plan at least one day for this beach so you can make up your own opinion. If you can somehow avoid weekends, it can be nice.

I'd recommend doing to Bondi to Coogee Beach Walk as well! Just start heading the right hand side when facing the ocean!

“Iconic beach, great coast walk to Tamarama”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

Really enjoyed the coast walk from Bondi, along the boardwalk to Tamarama. Spectacular views, and nice to stretch the legs! The best restaurants are off the "main strip" of Bondi (which mainly trade on their view / location and not their food).... but Bondi itself is a very wonderful place for tourists to go - and see how Aussies love their beaches! All the beautiful people are always out in force.... great to people watch!
