Stayed in 2 bed appt. floor 28. Plenty of space. Well equipped. View of part of harbour. Free coffee and apples in reception. Close to circular wharf. Japanese restaurants next door excellent. Close to station.

Apartment was very shabby and dated, the street noise was terrible, even on the 26th floor, the parking attendant was less than helpful, there was no milk or washing powder provided and the booked roll-away bed wasn't ready on arrival. (Pool and spa were good). Terrible value for money. Won't be back.

Stayed here for a family weekend away and I was pretty impressed with the 2 bedroom apartment. Nice big and comfortable. Great location close to The Rocks. I would definitely recommend staying here and would consider staying here next time we're in Sydney.

This was my second stay here. This time round the 1 bed apartment was badly in need of renovating and nothing like the quality of our first stay. Curtains had dirty marks & were partly falling off the hooks, floors very uneven. We were on the 6th floor and the room was very noisy. Felt like we were staying on the ground floor. The apartment was a good size with balcony with table & chairs. Bathroom/laundry was a little cramped but sufficient with good water pressure. The kitchen has mostly everything you need. There is a lounge area plus a dining table & chairs. Close to transport & a 5 min walk to Circular Quay. Plenty of restaurants & cafes around the area without having to walk too far.

Room tip: I would book well above 6th floor for quiet & on the city side not bridge side.

A decent size large studio apartment with a King Size bed and a separate lounge area with a kitchen.

Although I didn’t use it, the mini bar was reasonably stocked and not too overpriced.

Bathroom was spacious although the shower itself was a tad small considering, but it does the job. Shower / water pressure was great.
Bed was comfortable with no issues. Big pillows and plenty of spare blankets in the cupboards.

The apartment is clean, however the air vent over the shower looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time.

It’s nothing amazing but it was perfectly fine. Room also has a balcony with tables and chairs that has some views of surrounding city buildings.
Location is close to Wynyard Station. Only takes 5 mins to walk there. Some Asian / Japanese restaurants downstairs didn’t look too bad.

I would like to have seen an additional mirror (in particular a full length mirror) in the apartment itself. Always good to have an extra mirror that is not in the bathroom (especially if someone is using it at the time).

Staff were very friendly and check in was quick. Would defiantly stay here again.

Hi Amber. Thank you very much for taking the time to comment on your stay the York by Swiss Belhotel. We do appreciate all of the feedback that we receive both positive and negative. I am glad that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us. I have noted your comment in regards to the Mirror and I do agree that it is difficult when someone in the family hogs it. I will take your comments to the owner. Once again thank you very much for your time and hopefully we can welcome you back to the hotel in the future. Regards Jason
