The hotel is in a fantstic location only being about a 5 minute walk to the Rocks and Circular Key. Pitt Street Mall about a 10 minute walk. However there are a few things about the hotel that were not up to scratch and are reflected in some of the other reviews.
It is very noisy at night, especially in Friday and Saturday nights. There is no double glazing and if you need a quite room to sleep in forget this place. We even had a jack hammer doing road work until 11pm during the week.
There is no bath so if you are travelling with small children you will either need to get them used to showers or wash them in the sink. We ended up buying a large plastic tub to use as a bath as the hotel could not help.
Both the in room movie system and CD playerr did not work. It took 2 days for this to be rectified as they needed IT to look at it and they finished work at 5pm.
The bathroom needed a really good clean around the edges of the tiles. I managed to scrap some off so a good clean with some bleach and scourer would probably work. The shower also leaks all over the floor as there in no edge to stop the overflow.
The dishewasher also seemed to have a 'mind of its own'
On the upside the 2 bedroom apartment was well equiped with everything you would need for a weeks stay including a washing machine and dryer. Although the kitchen is very compact you could cook a full meal if you needed.
I would not stay here again as I have stayed at other apartment hotels in Sydney that were far better value for money, larger and a lot cleaner. ie the Meriton chain.

Coming directly from the airport i found it very easy to find the hotel as it was almost opposite the Wynyard train station. I arrived early but the lady on reception said she would mind our luggage and call us on our mobile if the room was ready ahead of schedule which it was.

The rooms are spacious with a living area, self contained kitchen and two tv's. Very comfortable rooms.

5 min walk and you are in circular Quay and the Rocks. We actually had a wedding at the botanical gardens which was also a 15 min walk so it was very handy - (take flat shoes)

Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 5 nights and had the best experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and took no time at all to attend to any needs I had during my stay. The service was prompt and friendly. The maid service was very good, it felt nice getting into a nicely made bed every night. They even unpacked the dishwasher for me!!

The location is great, close to Pitt Street, Sydney Tower (even tho all the shops in are closed right now), a quick train to the Quay, Kings Cross etc... really good spot to be in if you don't have a car.

I can honestly say that this stay was on of my best in the past few years. Cheers Mantra!

Booked here on the recommendation of a friend. Largely, we were not disappointed. The studio apartment was spotless and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a bit pokey and water tended to leak on to the floor from the shower due to only a small lip to prevent it from happening.

Staff were fine. We didn't sample the breakfast, so I cant comment on that.

Location was good, close to Wynyard station, but the north part of the Sydney CBD is very quiet on weekends (during the day) and there's not much open in terms of food. This wasn't a huge problem as we spent the days sightseeing and eating elsewhere.

At night, it turns out there are a few nightclubs in the area, including next to the hotel. Other people had complained of the noise, but we weren't bothered by it- though the noise of the other guests was a bit much early in the morning. It seems this place is popular with outer-suburban Sydneysiders as a base for a night of clubbing. The halls and lifts reeked on Sunday morning of hair-gel, cigarettes and cheap deodorant.

I'd probably stay here again. It would certainly suit those in town for a longer stay as it has washing facilities for clothes within the suites, and quite a well appointed kitchenette. Watch the mini-bar, prices were outrageous!

We had a one bedroom apartment. Queen bed, separate lounge/ dining area, kitchenette - well appointed. Nice furnishings. Had dinner in the restaurant one night - very nice meal.
But the negatives outweigh the positives-

We stayed here for two nights (Fri & Sat) Both night we were woken at 3am and 4am by people returning to their rooms. Loud, noisy and obnoxious, one swearing excessively. It spoilt our stay for sure.
The bathroom shower door does not seal properly so the bathmat was saturated both days. The water got to where the washing machine was so moving the bathmat made no difference !
Parking is $50 a night !
