Radisson Hotel And Suites Sydney

Stayed 2 nights early May in a King Room on Level 7.

Large, spacious & clean rooms & whilst a tad tired, are still more than adequate.

Location is great - 5 min walk to Darling Harbour in 1 Direction & Town Hall in the other direction.

Breakfast & off site valet parking were included in the deal booked via Wotif which is also an attraction as this can add around $70 a night to a city stay.

Was booked as a surprise for my 50th birthday and staff there made a real fuss of this and left a surprise cake in our room on that night. - Kristen you're a gem !!

Unlike a large number of Sydney hotels the majority of staff are anglo which is a really pleasant surprise.

We will remember this place for future stays.

Room Tip: Higher, the better.

I don't know why I forgot this property; I guess there is so much choice in Sydney. This turned out to be my second stay, and I regret not remembering it for some in-between visits.
Great for easy walking access to Convention Centre - Darling Harbour -Cockle Bay, and very easy access to the tunnels to take your taxi back to the airport.
My sister and I shared a twin queen suite on the 8th floor - high enough to avoid most of the traffic noise, but it is close to Chinatown, so does get noisy. Kitchenette, spacious bathroom, big enough TV with enough movies. Small balcony to watch the world go by. Good coffee and prompt room service. Wasn't included in our rate, but the buffet breakfast looked very good.

Room Tip: Top floor is the 8th - lower outward facing ones are noisy and look into other apartment windows - g...

My family & I stayed overnight in a 2 queen bed studio room on the 8th floor. The room was very spacious with more than enough room for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom a bit tired looking and, even with being on the 8th floor, there was still quite a lot of traffic noise. I would highly recommend ear plugs!

I utilized the gym and although it's small, the equipment appears to be brand new. The pool, spa and sauna were huge hits with the family. The buffet breakfast was also of a high standard. We were also able to secure a cheaper price direct with the hotel than offered by Wotif.

The best 2 things about this hotel are its location and its staff. The staff were outstanding, they were friendly, professional and very accommodating. We asked for a room on a high floor and were allocated one on the highest floor; on checkout they allowed us to store our luggage and kept our car in their valet parking area free of charge whilst we explored Darling Harbour and visited the Power House Museum.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in a quiet location and bring earplugs!!

Stayed 3 nights in a studio room at the end of our 2 week visit. Room was a little tired, overlooking a grim internal courtyard (although we did ask for a quiet room & this fitted the bill).
5 minutes from Darling Harbour in a busy tourist area with easy access to all the sites, although we stayed down in the Rocks on our last visit & preferred that end of town. Good in-room wi-fi strength, helpful staff but overall pretty average, more serviced apartments style than hotel I think.
