We were in Sydney to see a concert at the opera house. The location of the Marriott is within a short walk of the Opera House, making it the ideal location. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very comfortable.

Nice hotel, lovely staff. This place is very well positioned, in easy walking distance from Circular Quay, The Rocks, Opera House, and Botanical Gardens. If you go the opposite direction, you are soon among the shops.

My partner and I moved to Australia back in May for work, however, we were unable to find anywhere to live permanently and so decided to stay in the Marriot until we were able find a home. The staff were lovely, and were always helpful and polite. We had stayed before in March and for breakfast we needed to eat on one of the higher floors due to a refurbishment which was a little disappointing. But this time, the refurbishment was complete and we were able to eat breakfast on the ground floor. The hotel really is lovely, the rooms are getting a little tired but it's not a problem at all as they are serviced really well. We stayed for around 2 weeks and not once did we get bored, there is so much to do in Sydney and the location of this hotel is just fantastic. Although we've found our home and wouldn't need to stay again I would certainly recommend this hotel to any friends, family or co-workers.

I stayed for 4 days 3 nights business trip. Satisfied with their services starting from room reservation until check out, process was efficient and hassle free. The staff are courteous and always accommodating.
The room is well lit and neat, had a good roomy feel and ambience and more importantly the location is the best. Very near Sydney's tourist spot and the hotel proximity to my client is just perfect. Only comment is the hotel rate, quite costly plus the fact what I had doesn't include breakfast. Overall, I had a good stay.

Executive lounge service was excellent and the manager Vivek Sah was very friendly and very helpful including organizing the blue mountain tour and other recommendations. The food option could be improved instead of same menu every night after night.
