This modest looking, but elegant place will delight any serious foodie, both for the originality of its menu and the excellent value it offers. There is a degustation menu, and an a la carte offering. First timers might be wise to choose the former, and then return to order what they have most enjoyed. Service is unpretentious (although perhaps a little slow at times). The wine list is a model of eclecticism and there will be something to please any palate or wallet. In a city where the top restaurants have now priced themselves out of most peoples' budgets, here is a place which will assuredly give delight to anyone with a serious interest in good food.
