First, let me say our party of 8 dropped in here without a reservation in the middle of Chinese New Year week. We were delighted that they fit us in with only a 5 minutes wait. This was the busiest restaurant I had ever been in. But service was amazingly slow, even though very service person was literally running from place to place in a frenzy. We waited so long to order that we decided the waiter gave up on the stupid Westerners what or how they wanted to eat. But we were here for a party and enjoyed each others company. We stayed long enough (2 hours) that the commotion eased up and the staff actually came around and were friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. BBQ meat platter had a variety of delicious meats but not enough quantity to justify its $38 cost. Steamed Mixed vegetable turned out to be subtly flavored chinese cabbage. Fabulous sweet and sour pork. Fried long beans were delicious - although we didn't order them - maybe they were part of the mixed vegetable platter. Szechuan beef was unlike anything we had ever had - steamed in a fiery oil & liquid mixture loaded with dried chills. The prawn with poe a pod dish had immense shrimps cooked to perfection. This was a quite chaotic but ultimately satisfying meal.
