At the end of a great weekend in Sydney la Rosa was a beautiful lunch. Feta salad and beetroot pasta were lovely dishes. Beautiful olive oils with the selection of bread, my favorite was fruttata. Deep fried olive was great as well. Lovely wine followed by coffee and would have had a tart or affogato if we had enough time. We have been here years ago and the quality is still there, already planning our next visit.

So disappointing and quite insulting to be served what tasted like yesterdays scraps. The crackling was rubbery, the meat very chewy surrounded by tough fat that was difficult to cut off. This dish was offered to us as the chef's special - and he only had 3 left. A warning that if you're offered a 'chef's special' and you have an early sitting for dinner, it's very likely to be leftovers. We paid $80 for 2 plates of this pork main and our complaint was responded to with a complimentary bean side ($15). Very underwhelming and such a shame after enjoying 2 delicious entrees. If you don't mind being treated like a garbage bin for leftovers, then we can recommend this restaurant!

I found this restaurant online. The service was fabulous and it was extra special to have authentic Italian staff. The food tasted like it was "nonna" cooking n the kitchen and the ambience was soft and great for a catch up or special occasion.

A group of five long time friends met for lunch. The menu is extensive without being overbearing. The service was first rate. The pasta entrees were tasty and arrived “on time”. The mains were just as good including fine pasta and regu and excellent pizza. The deserts were excellent including a particularly fine tiramisu. Can’t say anything about the wine - we were all going back to work, so stayed on water!

I've been here a few times and I've always left with a full belly complete with delicious food. This time round was no exception as I brought some of my friends along for a birthday dinner and the restaurant did not disappoint. Even though one of the dishes was a bit heavy handed on the cheese they gladly suggested and brought out another pasta dish that was devoured as soon as it was served. I was also not charged for the original pasta dish ehich was really nice of them.

Their cauliflower pizza is to die doe and I definitely intend on visiting again when I'm in town next.
