I had read through many reviews before booking and thought for sure no one man could be so likeable but Sam, the tour guide, really was awesome. Very good at keeping in contact before the day, and his tour was absolutely brilliant.

The collection was very smooth and easy, and we got on the most comfortable minibus I have ever been in. So well air-conditioned, with great windows for viewing the scenery as you pass and very comfy seating, it felt both safe and luxurious as you travel to the destinations. The wildlife reserve was awesome and we got to see everything you would want to; petting koalas, feeding kangaroos, and seeing everything including walabees, platypuses, komodo dragons. The wineries Sam selected for us were awesome. I particularly enjoyed Ernest Hill- their wines were delicious and Anne described and talked through each wine so well. Sam was able to tell us so much himself throughout the day and really helped to give the day an authentic and friendly feel. He was able to teach us (who mostly knew rather little about wine) an awful lot, and brought the whole group together to the point that at the end of the day we were sad to leave everyone! Chocolate and cheese tasting was also brilliant.

This is a must-do day. I would suggest if you are in Sydney for more than one day, definitely spend a day doing this tour, it is absolutely worth the money and lets you see so much more of NSW than you would be able to on your own with your very own guide and feeling very spoiled as you do so!
