I paid A$130 for a what was described as a de luxe day trip which was organised by Sightseeing Tours and which included a wild life park, a lunch stop at Leura, a visit to Echo Point, and a visit to the valley near Katoomba, a package which included cable cars into the centre and then back up from the valley floor, and a very steep funicular down. There was a really good boardwalk at the bottom, where I could have spent a lot more time, and included mining relics and a waterfall. But the real star was the stunning vistas of the Blue Mountains. We also had a very good boat ride into Sydney Harbour, including going under the bridge, and with stops at Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. A really food day out

If you choose just one tour while visiting Sydney, make it this one! Tony P. was a walking wealth of information and so personable! All the stops provide a taste of the mountain culture and I even got to feed a kangaroo! You are immersed into Mother Earth that the Aboriginees loved! You travel by land and by water to end an unforgettable journey!

There were only about 11 people on our tour with Rob, our tour guide. It was raining in the morning so our visit to the wildlife park was a bit damp. But Rob had plenty of umbrellas so we made it just fine. We stopped at a small B&B for lunch. Since we were a small group, we were able to go down some small roads to see interesting sites. We got to see about 6 kangaroos in the distance hopping around - very cool. The Three Sisters were beautiful as was the surrounding mountain range. We opted not to go to the park (lots of steps, steep include train, etc.) which was a good decision for the two of us. After enjoying the mountains and taking tons of pictures, we located a gelato shop and enjoyed a cup. On the way back to Sydney, we were dropped off at a ferry stop and rode the ferry back. Very enjoyable day!

Definitely worth booking with a smaller vehicle. Rob took us to two stops that large buses could never have gone. Lunch was good (yet you aren’t here for the lunch). Definitely do the walk down the path at 3 sisters and take the incline up (pay at the top). Hike down was incredible. River taxi back to Sydney was also a treat. Easy and some great views (going under the Sydney Bridge). Featherdale was also great to arrive before the crowds. Rob’s humor is very AUS/UK...which we appreciated! He is great.
