Pleasant guy, very friendly, funny and knowledgable... but I reckon for every 1 minute of info he gave us about Sydney he gave us 2 mins of info about his family. Yes, I know how much his dad 'apparently' got paid off for land, what his wife does, his legal battles and his sons budding football career. What do I know about Sydney and the blue mountains? Well whatever I did learn was over ridden by how rich Robs dad is, where his mum was buried, how spoilt his son is and where they go on their 100 holidays each year.
The weather was grim give him his due, Rob tried to make it fun regardless. Lunch was distinctly average in a weird time warp hotel with little character... even a cafe with a view would have ripped it.... We went spotting wild kangaroos and then headed up to Scenic world in the hope mist would clear. Another $39 dollars later we met Rob outside the entrance and he drove us in pretty much silence to a ferry port to get back to Circular Quay/Darling Harbour.
It was tough weather conditions and I think he did the best he could considering the weather, however I feel totally ripped off. I met someone today who did exactly the same tour with less than 15 people and paid nearly half the price- and had a fabulous lunch stop with great food with a view.
Not really top of my highlights...

Thank you Rob for making this a day to remember from the minute you promptly picked us up till you dropped us back for our ferry ride home. Rob was informative, humorous, helpful and knowledgeable and not just about his home country but about everyone's who had joined the trip. He brought the group together well. We loved all the 'off piste' stops that would have been inaccessible in a large coach. Robs minibus was comfortable and cool - a blessing today. We learnt a lot about the history of Australia and its culture. I loved my cuddle with the koala and wallabies. Our food was well cooked, presented well and enjoyed by all. A fabulous day that was enjoyed by all many thanks Rob.

My wife and I took the Blue Mountains trip with Rob in February 2017. Collection from our hotel was on time and Rob is as most of the reviewers point out jovial and a good entertainer. He is also forthright with his views which seems to be usual with many Australians. No problems with that. The mountains are quite impressive, and covered in jungle. How humans manage to put roads in some places never ceases to amaze me. The history of the first explorers was very interesting and trying to envisage them making their way through such a wild environment is equally as incredible as the road. Overall I enjoyed the trip which ended with a pleasant ferry return to Circular Quays. On the negative side you must appreciate that the mountains are quite some distance from the city so it should be obvious that the stops are always going to feel a bit rushed. If we return to Sydney we would consider a couple of nights stay in the mountains so we could take our time to explore it properly. Two other points regarding our particular trip which led to the middle rating are the meal supplied was awful, with three of the group having to return the chicken snitzels as they were still raw in the middle. The food was sent back and it was obvious that the same pieces of meat were just put back in the oil and returned to the table. They were still inedible. The hotel gave a free drink to everyone in the group, but this still spoiled what could have been a decent trip. One other point is Rob used his mobile phone several times while driving, something we should have pointed out at the time. Maybe I needed a bit of that Australian forthrightness to point out the danger of taking your eyes off the road.

My wife and I enjoyed this experience with Rob, our tour guide and driver. He was on time picking us up from the hotel and his vehicle was modern and clean. This is an all day adventure learning about the history of Australia. Rob was very informative on the culture and entertained us with plenty of laughs throughout the day. Rob was more than able to answer all questions that we asked about Australia, even with moving to Australia. I highly suggest choosing this tour, as it will introduce you to Australia in a very unique way.

We wish you the best Rob and your son through his education and athletic abilities.

We booked this tour based on the great reviews we'd read and we weren't disappointed. Firstly communication to book on the tour was quick and simple. Despite the rain we were picked up from our hotel and set off for the day. I was slightly nervous as there were only 4 of us on the tour (which I'm told is very unusual) but Rob made the day fun and enjoyable with his stories and knowledge which he happily shared. The wild park we visited was good, and we were first in the queue to get our pictures taken with the koala's. The weather wasn't great, so the view of the Blue Mountains was very poor, however Rob had lots of ideas up his sleeve to keep us entertained. Thanks for a great day, Rob!
