I dined at Postales with my husband on a Saturday night and had a wonderful evening. The setting downstairs in the old GPO Building is very atmospheric. The service was first class with a good menu and wine list. However we had come especially for the seafood paella and we weren't disappointed. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and the dish was cooked just right with a lovely bit of thick crust around the edge of the dish, just the way it should be. We also enjoyed the basic olives and bread starter and some beans cooked in butter and garlic. Although we were pretty full after the generous helpings we couldn't resist sharing a plate of churros for dessert - Spanish doughnuts with chocolate sauce. The wines were very pricey but I guess they have to pay the mid city rents somehow. We would happily go back again.
