We recently stayed at Wyndham Treeptops Resort at Coffs Harbour. After the only other review we were wondering on the drive to the Resort what we would find.
We found a wonderful, quiet Resort with first class amentities and staff that went out of their way to assist. When we arrived our apartment was not quite ready, but Natalie immediately gave us another apartment, so that we did not have to wait.
Every time I went to Reception, there was always a smiling face and someone ready to assist. When we had a slight problem on checkout, it was rectified immediately!
It is not right in Coffs Harbour, but also are none of the other major Resorts.
There is an unpatrolled beach within a couple of minutes walk and some great bush walks with great views.
They do not have a Restaurant, but the Restaurant at the Novotel is a short walk away, and also the golf shop has snacks, papers and coffee. You can also use the Novotel Golf Course.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment and this was spacious and very modern and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay.
We did not have great weather, so did not use the pool, but it certainly is not small.
We would definately consider Treetops next time we are in Coffs Harbour!

Had the misfortune of wasting our credits at At "Tree Tops" After suffering a delayed check-in (room not ready for over an hour past advertised 4pm check-in time) forced to park in handicapped parking spot (none other available) and traversed dodgy stairs to "underground" rooms (with every wall as crooked as a dog's hind leg) supposedly to sleep up to 8, but we found crowded for just 3. Nowhere to hang bath towels at all in main bathroom and en suite could only hang one towel (and no clothes airer/rack available). Soap holder in shower completely loose and falls off. All other fittings crooked. Knees pressed against toilet roll and extensive orange mould in lower tiles. Guests used garden in front of balcony area as a thoroughfare and one fellow even used the garden as a landing point jumping down from the floor above balcony. Felt completely unsafe. The swimming pool/spa for hundreds of guests wasn't much larger than a couple of bathtubs and the "owner's lounge" was unwelcoming/untidy with very limited and out-of-date brochures and week old newspapers strewn around. Very limited range of DVDs available (what you'd expect in a very cheap motel) and the nearest shop to buy newspapers, milk etc was the "golf course" general store a 20 minute bush walk away. We had to drive everywhere (even to breakfast at nearby Novatel restaurant) and of course had to battle to find a parking spot on every return. The very tired-looking reception staff misled us about the "hard sell" we get to buy more credits we always get when staying at Wyndham properties - telling us that as the place is very new they would really appreciate our feedback at this session - wrong. The salesperson we spoke to treated our attempted comments along the above lines flippantly saying "oh everyone says that - I have never stayed here so I'm the wrong person to talk to". Gym was tiny and not mentioned - could only fit one person at a time. Could not get any internet/mobile coverage in room and not told that we were entitled to free wi fi (normally $6/hr) because of our level of membership until the day we left. You have to drive 10 minutes to nearest swim beach.

Good day,

I would like to apologise in advance for your unhappy experience while staying with us.

I would like to advise that we are continuing to improve on our product and have the following projects that will take place over the next few months:
More parking bays will be built, covered walkways to the lower level rooms, fans in every bedroom a new BBQ area as well as a dedicated pathway leading to Pacific Bay Resort Precinct.

There are another two swimming pools within the Pacifc Bay Resort , which are available for our guests and owners should you feel that one of the pools are crowded you arew welcome to make use of these.

In the lounge all brochures are supplied by the local tourism association who stock the brochure rack on a regular basis. The specific Newspapers are only published once a week for the local area. These are displayed for the week and may be taken for free by any guest.
We have increased our DVD range and they consist of latest releases. These are exchanged monthly by an external company who manage the process to ensure that we get the most popular DVDs on the circuit.

Our onsite Sales Office are very Professional and will always do their best to accommodate and requests and feedback.

I hope the above restores your faith in our resort and hope you will visit again in the future to experience all the enhancements that would have taken place.

Kind Regards
