We have stayed here twice now and love that it's only a 5 min walk to Manuka's cafe's. The rooms a lovely and very clean with comfy beds. The rooms have a Nespresso machine with some pods supplied. You can purchase more from the front desk or bring some from home. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We would recommend staying at this hotel.

Had an excellent stay at The East hotel. I wanted to stay near the restaurants of Manuka and Kingston but actually we had a drink at Joes Bar and dinner at Muse and whilst getting out to the War Memorial and the National Gallery we had everything else we needed at the East Hotel . It was only one night so this was all quite convenient.

All staff from reception greeting on arrival to room service and room cleaning staff were polite friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Noise levels non existent consid err ing the hotel was opposite a popular local pub there waa no noise from the pub. Overall a great 2 day stay. My second stay in a month. Love the East!

This is a modern stylish hotel. It has a great feel when you walk into the lobby and who can resist the lolly jars?
We had some specific room requests and these were honoured and we enjoyed our studio room. We had a last minute decision to have breakfast in our room and it was handy to have cups, bowls, plates etc in the cupboard.
Our booking was with booking.com and when requested early as a "genius" member, you can book in at 1.00pm if there is a room available. Suited us perfectly.

Parking under the hotel is $10 but particularly worth it on a hot or rainy day! You can leave and come back multiple times.

We were a bit disappointed that there were wasn't anything that appealed that was "light" for lunch in the cafe so we went to nearby Manuka but that was our only disappointment. We will be back.
