Family nomads

Love the atrium, bar and restaurant. Room needs an update.

Stayed for 2 nights with the family. Service was good, love the atrium in the centre of the hotel. Restaurant and bar were great, not cheap but I guess average these days. Only downside was our room was in need of a refurb, a little dated and still had some of the pre-reno motel vibe happening.

My Wife and i stayed at the Pavillion on Friday 12th & Saturday the 13th of April 2024. We had the best time at this hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was our 21st Wedding Anniversary on the 12th of April and decided to have dinner at the hotel. This was a great idea as the staff made our table for us nicely and were looked after by Scarlett that night and a little bit the next, extremely friendly & professional, a great asset to your hotel. The food was extremely nice and delicious on both nights along with the nice cocktails as well. I have stayed there through work on occasions and i & my family have stayed on many occasions and will do so again. I did call the Manager Dan to give this feedback, not always the bad feedback. The Pavillion and staff made our time there extremely enjoyable, Thank You from your guests in Room 267, Trudi & John K

The staff are all welcoming. Free parking is easy. Buffet breakfast is our favourite part. Rooms are spacious and clean. Room service is friendly and efficient. Restaurant is nice with all the indoor greenery. Everything is just dandy here.

Room tip: The breakfast is buffet, all you can eat, they'll make eggs to order if you need. They have gluten free bread. They have happy hour.

My Booking in was smooth.
My Room whilst adequate ,was a little tired, wood and carpet old in style and colour.
Breakfast was plentiful but like so many other hotels breakfast the food was hard to keep hot.

Staff were very helpful and courteous.
My Bed and pillow were very good.
TV excellent.
My evening meal on Sunday night was “I am sorry but we have no Lamb Curry but we do have Venison.
Having said tghat! The meal and service were good.
All in all a pleasant stay and I would return

We stayed over the Easter weekend with our car club for an event. Booked an Atrium hotel room & we stayed in the summer suite which was spacious & comfortable. I booked the couples package so we had daily breakfast included which was good & you could order your eggs cooked to order. We also had dinner one night in the Atrium Restaurant & whilst the food was good (I recommend the lamb curry & choc fondant) the service was very slow & unattentive. We had nightly drinks at the bar & I enjoyed the margarita cocktails, would have been better if they had cocktail specials on their weekday happy hour. Staff on the front desk/reception were friendly & helpful. Enjoyed our stay & would return if I was visiting the area again.

Middling hotel with potential, but some rooms are very tired. And we stayed in one of them. Beware the un-renovated rooms on the ground floor (perhaps elsewhere as well). Very tired -- despite lots of streaming service buttons on the remote, none of them worked. A trip back into the 1970s/80s, with offering of stale packages of instant coffee. General drabness of the room. Other rooms in this hotel have been renovated: why not go the whole hog? Another problem -- the so-called safe parking (admittedly free, for which thanks) which was supposed to be accessible only to those with a room key, was completely open to anyone the entire weekend we were there. On the plus side -- pretty comfortable bed; nice staff at reception and in the dining room and bar. Come on Pavillion at Northbourne, lift your game!

Room tip: Avoid ground-floor rooms.
