We stayed in the Superior North Wing suite. Just like everyone says -
Back to the 50s decor
Huge living area, modern bathroom, not a lot of space in the bedroom with the queen bed.
Open verandah that catches the sun in winter. Peaceful view over the campus.
Sometimes a bit of plumbing noise, but not enough to annoy. A bit of a smell from the toilet water - I wonder if they use recycled water?
If you have mobility issues, this North wing is not really suitable as even the ground floor has a few steps to the room.
Wander though the library & meeting rooms - If you are an old Uni student who has stayed in Residential accommodation in the 60s or 70s, then this has a bit of that feel, but more upmarket of course.
The other accommodation option at ANU campus is Liversidge Court Apartments. I've stayed there & while not the same Uni feeling, is probably a better option if you want to cook your own meals.More
