An important collection that reminds one of the awfullness of war together with gallantry it prompts. A fine collection of aircraft and much else. Bring the kids and help them to understand.......

I'd definitely recommend spending a decent amount of time here (my Dad spent 6 hours!) or if you are a local, then a couple of hours each weekend for a month should do the trick!

I loved all of it. so well planned out and easy to get around. The dispalys are fantastic and it made you really feal what they went through in the past to get us where we are today. Thank you Canberra war memorial.

The mistake made by most people is that they do not allocate sufficient time to see all the exhibits. Two hours is not enough. Four hours is more realistic. It is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm every day except Christmas Day. Admission is free.
