I booked this resort from the hotel fair in Siam Paragon Shopping Centre eariler the year which gave me a lot lower price than the rack rate during Christmas. The resort is quite hard to find becuase of the sign and its isolated location. The resort is pretty small and quiet. Only 3 out of 10 rooms were book in on the the day we we checked in which kind of uprised me. We booked Loft Suite one (our room is called Cinnamon, the middle room). It is quite spacious. Living room, one bathroom and Jacuzzi is on the first floor while bedroom and another bathroom is on the second floor. The stairs is quite steep and cold becuase of air condition. There are entrance to the room on each flooor. However, I expected a larger room. The bedroom is so small. The bathroom is also not so clean too. Worms are found in sink and shower area on the first floor of the bathroom. The sofa on the first fall was also not so comfortable.

Bakery in this resort is a must. Everyone will like it. Tea is okay, three types of Twining to choose from. Dining in the hotel is also fine. We had Thai dining and unlimited buffet. The dining area is the lobby area. I think there is only one restaurant near the resort. There's no any other attraction near the hotel though. On the last day of our stay, it is so windy and the wave is so high that all the beach area is dissapeared. The pool in the hotel is quite small and didnt see any play it. I also visited other two types of room; the beach villa and the cottage in the rice field. I think the Loft Suite is better as it is larger and it is nearer to the sea. The beach villa is quite small. There is nothing much to do in the hotel other than enjoy yourself in a very peaceful hideaway place and listen to the wave of the sea.

just totally love this place. The price may be high but it just worth the money

the reason why it worth the money is
1) the location, private beach as it share only with a few private holiday house which has noone stay in so the beach just for the guess of the hotel
2) the food, the famous afternoon tea is very good. Breakfast is also very good
3) the room, quite nice and comfy for relax. we had a great time enjoying the sea view while reading books

why this place may not be for you?
1) it quite away from everything so if you dont have a car getting here can be costly or even you have a car once you enter the hotel you wouldnt want to go out again as it so isolate.
2) it not for kids, there is no activity for kid at all since facility seem to be build for couple purpose

This hotel is wonderful. As others have noted it is a hidden gem. There are sea front bungalows, two storied huts on stilts in rice paddies and then a building with two level units. We chose a sea front bungalow....wherein the crashing waves are about 50 feet away. This is a rustic property so very close to nature and appointed in like fashion, with some amazing features however. The custom made open air showers and bathtubs are fantastic. The bed is set on a low platform and very comfortable compared to other beds in Thai hotels I have tried. There is a flat screen tv if you wish with satellite and free DVD's. Our bungalow is quite spacious with distinct living spaces; bedroom that has glass sliding panels, living room again with glass sliding panels open to the outdoors, and then the shower and bath and toilet/sink areas. The floors are a polished and tinted concrete so cool to the touch, yet very warm looking. The furnishings are simple and again carry a "back to nature" theme but very well done. The little bench/couch though is hard as a rock despite the padding so we usually moved to the bed to read and watch tv. The staff are wonderful and provide very good service. The breakfast is actually endless...you do make selections but then you can have whatever you wish in whatever quantity you wish. The high tea is excellent with actual scones, homemade jams and cream and a selection of fresh and tasty baked goods (dark chocolate layer cake, carrot cake, moist brownies and a mini raspberry parfait....delightful). La a natu also has scooters for rent for a modest amount (350 THB) and we spent two days touring around the area which was so much fun. I would definitely recommend this activity. It was a great experience here. The only downside I would say is that the property is starting to look tired. The paint needs touching up, the stairs fastening, some of the trimwork around the pool is sagging, the grounds need some manicuring, and different from so many Thai properties I have stayed in, the cleanliness of the common areas is less than desired (i.e. food from breakfast still on the ground, leaves and other debris blown into the foyer and left there, etc). That is the only complaint. I think it is a fantastic property but it does need some care and maintenance.
