Four of us stayed here for a week in June. The bungalow was very well equipped, (with lots of new kitchen ware) very clean and spacious with an enormous sofa for relaxing in the evening.
The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and they left us with lots of basic food items to start the holiday which was great.
The area is very quiet and once you get used to the narrow lanes, and take it slowly , it does not take long to get to the main A40 road to Ross and Gloucester.
The location is very good for walking as we managed to walk 70 miles in our time here with outings for example to the Malverns, Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, the Black Mountains and of course the Wye Valley.
There is a great Morrisons in Ross and we managed to get our morning papers in Dryford which is a 8 min drive away. There is also a fish and chip shop there as well as a pub!
A very enjoyable week.
The bungelow is an excellent size, with two big and one good sized bedrooms. It has recently been renovated, so all the equipment is new and very clean.
It has a great shower with a separate bath.
There is a great large sofa and overall the accommodation is extremely comfortable.
The location is rural and very quiet, but you are only a 10 minute drive from Ross on Wye.
The garden is fanatastic for dogs; our two chocolate labradors loved it. There is a good sized enclosed garden to the rear and side of the bungelow. This opens up to a huge main garden that can be secured by closing the gate to the road. The are plenty of footpaths to walk dogs nearby. This is a great place for people to bring their dogs!
There is plenty of parking.
The Wi-Fi works well and unusually has good phone reception.
This is a lovely holiday cottage in a great location.
