We have just stayed for three nights at Seas the Day and our only regret is we didn’t have longer. Jeanette and Bill have created a truly unique and special home away from home. We loved the gardens, the room, the pictures and statues, the magnificent cooked proper English breakfast and the little touches that made us feel at home like cakes, chocolate and even port in the room! Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and helped to make our short stay on this lovely island truly unforgettable. Trip Advisor awards, of which there are many, are thoroughly deserved in our opinion and we hope to return when we come back to Australia. Thank you so much Jeanette and Bill for your warm and generous welcome.

Thanks for your awsome review, and we are delighted that you were able to find peace and relaxation. Its only about 5 yrs ago that we established our romantic "Seas the Day" B&B retreat. for both Bill and I, having so many awards ( due to guests reviews) is an honour. This gives us incentive to create one of the best traditional bed & breakfast in Aussie. Have a lovely day and we look forward to seeing you again.

We spent one night at Seas the Day B&B
and can't praise Bill and Jeannette enough for their hospitality and accommodation.
The accommodation has exclusive access and the owners have thought of everything, including our own garden with dining facilities.
The modern bathroom and all bedroom features were spotless. With homemade cakes, chocolates and even port on offer.
Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of a huge cooked breakfast as well as fruit, toast, cereal etc.
The hosts were very friendly, and offered information on many activities available on the island.
I would definitely recommend Seas the Day. And would rate it 10/10.

Thanks for taking the time to write your kind review. For every guest that stay at our cosy, coastal B&B we strive to give them the pampering and comfort that we expect when we travel and stay at Australian and overseas B&Bs. And for cooking a fresh wholesome breakfast and other goodies, we love baking and cooking each day a traditional English Breakfast . Thanks again and all the best from Jeanette & Bill.

This was such a beautiful B&B - one of the best we have ever stayed in. Jeanette and Bill are the most thoughtful and happy hosts and made us feel completely welcome. We stayed in the "Captains Quarters" suite with everything you could need and charming seaside décor. The gardens are a delight and the sculptures are really well done - some made by Jeanette herself. Beach access is a short walk. Nothing is boring about this place but everything is so peaceful at the same time. The perfect place to let the rest of the world go by.

Room tip: Both suites are great but pay the extra for the Captains Quarters suite if you are staying more than one night. It's worth it.

Thanks for your lovely review. We are pleased that you enjoyed yourselves and you were able to chill out at our romantic seaside retreat. As you know, after a 17 year career as an art teacher, I still love creating sculptures. Some of them can be found in our quirky art gardens. Have a lovely day from Jeanette & Bill Mackenzie.

Stayed at Seas the Day for the first time while on our driving holiday from Sydney to Melbourne. Can't recommend highly enough. Warm welcome when you arrive with heaps of sightseeing information for the area. Very high quality breakfast with chocolates, port and cupcake in room. Room beautifully clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!!!

Stayed at Philip Island for a wedding, but would have loved to see the penguins as the generous hosts are so thoughtful to let you know when the penguins arrive and provide carry bag of blankets/ umbrellas etc to take. They feed you a hearty breakfast for the morning and leave you little treats like fresh baked goods, port and chocolates.

Room tip: bottom room has a cute garden
