“a truly lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 21 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

kionslieu farm is a family run farm/livery yard. the pretty surroundings house rabbits, goats, sheep, chickens and poppy the retriever all waiting for fuss from anyone passing by. the cottages are all very comfortable and extremely well equipped. the farm is situated centrally which makes exploring the island easy. a very enjoyable break was had by all and nothing was too much trouble for Fiona and Tony.

“Loved it even with all the snow”
Reviewed 3 June 2013 for a stay in April 2013

We stayed in the 2 bed cottage with our 2 young children 4 & 2. The cottage was well equipped and clean, and the kids loved the bunk beds. This is a great place for kids, having rabbits, chickens, goats and sheep for the to interact with. There are swings and a slide, play house and a barn with pool table and games.

The washing machine is in a shared area and costs extra if you need to do washing.

Owners of the cottage were very helpful, esp with directions to the hospital, when our daughter cut her chin, well what can you do!

Heating worked, which given the snow we needed! We still managed an Easter egg hunt in the snow drifts.
