If in Tasmania do not miss this one! It was the highlight of our trip to Australia. Up close and personal with Kangaroos and other wildlife. What a great sanctuary

Our guide Matt was very friendly and informative on the drive too and from the sanctuary. Great afternoon and would highly recommend, this is a small but highly interactive park. Up close and feeding the free roaming roo's was the highlight to our visit.

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary
BEST SANCTUARY
$80 for a family pass ( 2 kids, 2 adults) and with that you also get a free bag of kangaroo food for each person ! Regardless of what ticket you buy you get a bag of kangaroo food for each person which is great. They have loads and loads of kangaroos to feed! Which are all different sizes but are very tame and friendly. They also have super cute wombats and tassie devils, they have a sanctuary worker that does a talk on the tassie devils as well as a few animals (depends on what time the show is ) they also have blue tongues, a couple koalas , echidnas , birds , snakes.
All food and drinks at the canteen are ALL vegan. They also have a shop we’re you can buy post cards, toys , figures , magnets , pens and pretty much everything else a zoo shop would sell. They aren’t a zoo or government funded so they really rely on people coming and visiting their beautiful sanctuary and donating money. Fun for all ages and feeding the kangas are a blast !
