We have just stayed here during our round trip in México as we wanted to be really close to the Palenque ruins-allowing ourselves the possibility of an early start there. From that perspective it could not be better.
Additionally rooms are large and rustic but still very nice ... although air conditioning didn’t work properly and the fan was terribly noisy. But so are the howler monkeys which will surely wake you up around 6am :-)
Later in the day we saw toucans flying over the pool area - fantastic.
There are bottled water in the rooms, but not enough - 1/2 liter for four people is not enough.
The only real downside is the restaurant and it’s staff. Food (both breakfast and dinner) is tasteless and hopelessly served. ‘Our’ waiter ‘Hebert C Arcos’ was the only one making a difference
