Great place to stop over on the drive through to Alice Springs. Good fun atmosphere and great pub food. It felt like so much history had happened in this place. The room was suitable and clean. Staff were friendly and attentive.

You can't drive the Stuart Highway without stopping here, that would almost be a crime. Just get there for happy hour!

Decorated by those who visit with bras, pants, shirts, hats, stickers, money from their homelands/ travels, business cards and driving licenses. It's a treasure trove of stories.

The Barra & Beef is legendary & a must try my travel companion tells.
They also have a GF Beef pie which I was over the moon about and devoured happily.

Staff are friendly, unpowered sites are very reasonable at $18 for the two of us. You get WiFi & use of the swimming pool too. No cooking facilities but why would you?

Great place to meet other travellers too

Go in, eat drink, be merry & leave your mark.

If you want a taste of the Australian Outback this is a must do at least once in your lifetime. The cheap accommodation is very basic and not really somewhere I would stay with my family, but hey you get what you pay for. The cheap rooms were all that was left. The bar is great and the food is worth the trip in itself. Definite must do

My family of four stayed overnight in a 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was new and in good nick - even had a pod coffee maker.
Staff were great and very helpful.
The food was good as well.
I have nothing bad to say about this establishment.

We were here 4 years ago. This time, at end of season, so no live show sadly.

The Barra and Beef still a great option and most enjoyable.

Stayed in a powered caravan site overnight.

Great to vista the quirky character of this place.

All good - recommended.
