While in Australia, my friends and I had already visited 2 other sanctuary/zoo venues but were persuaded to visit Caversham as we had not got up-close to native animals. We were in for a treat. While some of the enclosures are a bit small, the ‘Meet the . . ‘ areas were very good. We were able to touch and feed various animals, reptiles and birds including koalas, possums, wombats and kangaroos. A fabulous experience. The keepers are obviously caring, knowledgeable and passionate about the animals in their care.
