This is one of those old large small town hotels with the bar and cafe on the main floor and rooms above. The guest rooms have all been renovated and have excellent air conditioner/heat units. The furnishing are basic but there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room. The TV's are small flat screens and one thing which did impress me was the quality of the towels in the bathroom. The bathroom was also very large and the bed was very comfortable. This is a very large hotel for such a small town and is right in the centre of this small town. The price is half the cost of the rest of the accommodations in the town!
Make sure you ask for a room facing the streets as the rooms on the back side face the railroad and there are quite a few loud trains during the night. Also avoid room 203, the one we had, as birds nest in the furnace pipes and run back and forth along these pipes. Kept us awake after 4 AM!
