Stayed in July 17, middle of a heatwave. 40 degrees on average. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with sofa bed for our daughter and cot for our baby son.
It was sweltering at night with no air conditioning. Were told by email that we could borrow a fan, but when I asked, they said they had given them all out. No solution offered.
Not ideal with two kids.
Room was ok. Basic. We appeared to have a disabled friendly bathroom. Fine, although the shower screen was only up to your waist, therefore it was hard not to spray water everywhere when showering.
Pool was good, not too busy, plenty of space. Clean water, generally pretty good. The bar by the pool was never open. There's a vending machine for drinks though.
Had food in the 'tavern' one night. Food was distinctly average and very expensive. Can't speak for the main restaurant.
Service from staff was pretty poor. Give the impression they really don't care. I raised a problem with the vending machine and was told by two different members of staff it was basically my own fault. Not sure how that's possible when the machine took my money and didn't give me drinks. Twice.
Anyway, would I stay there again? Probably not. They need to make some improvements I think.More
