Located in a small non-descript town with limited choices for eating out, (apart from the excellent Sevruga Restaurant and a good pizzeria one street back from the riverside); but well situated to explore the areas of Seville, Cadiz, Huelva, Carmona, and Danana National Park.
The house itself was clean and well-equipped, with a delightfully-tiled small inner court yard and a roof terrace.
However, it had been ill-prepared to receive guests at the end of winter.
The house was cold and damp.
The bed linen provided was cold and damp.
Some of the linen was in a poor condition - no elastic in the double bed sheets and elderly towels.
The gas bottle in the heater was empty.
The heated towel rail was not working.
The television remote did not work.
One of the reverse air conditioner remotes did not work.
The standing lamp in the sitting area did not work.
These deficiencies would not have been so important during the summer, but they made for a very uncomfortable stay at the end Feb/beginning March.
