What a cracking pub. The atmosphere is fantastic and the welcome from the staff was great. Such a pleasant, vibrant space. Everything was spotless and shinning and the menu was extensive with goodies to suit all tastes and dietary requirements and all at a very reasonable price. We had gluten free fish and chips which was as good as you will get anywhere and a stuffed chicken breast with a selection of fresh vegetables. We will certainly be back for more and I can't wait to try the Sunday lunch. When traveling it is refreshing to get a good welcome when you have not been able to previously book. There is another inn close by down a side road and the owners of that should certainly take a leaf out of The Red Lion book.
