Ordered a takeout on the recomendation of a friend! Big mistake! The restaurant looks good, very contemporary but dont let this fool you. I should have known better than to order from them with dishes like steak masala(prachee spelling masalah?) and duck curry on the menu. Anyway to cut a long story short we ordered a chicken achari a dish i am used to eating from several good curry houses in bradford(aaragh been the very best version of this dish) and it was like soup with chicken and onions in it, absolutley no resemblence to a real achari. My partners chicken tikka masala was like tasteless soup with bits of tough chicken in. Like a supermarket curry. The only reason i gave this place a one rating is because we returned the currys after having one spoonfull from each for a refund. To sum up a good restaurant for people who have never eaten a real( good) curry. Reminds me a a few curry houses abroad when your on holiday but there is no excuse to serve tastless currys so close to bradford especially with the exorbitant prices to boot.

Love this place. Had not been for approx 8 years and apart from the decor changing everything else was just the same! Friendley and helpful staff, amazing food and comfortable surroundings. When you first arrive you are taken to a waiting area where drinks order are taken as well as food orders. This is a little strange as tables are waiting for you however does not take away from how yummie the food is. Was constantly good when I used to go and did not disappoint this time. Prices are not cheap however I think in their case you get what you pay for. Love it and cannot wait to return!!!

The Prachee's Lamb Madras is unbeatable and has been now for I think almost forty years, so good it is difficult to try new dishes.

I havnt been to The Prachee for almost 20 years & after last night I know why. Starters were OK, wine OK but both our curries were rubbish. Like a lot of Indian restaurants I reckon they make one big curry & then add bits to it. I had " Lamb" , didnt taste of anything , very tough . We both left most of our main course & they didnt even ask why ??? There were only six other people in. I dont know how they keep going. its a taxi to bardford next time.

This was by far my favourite restaurant and me and friends used to always visit for years. However, over these years I found that the nan breads became smaller, the salad that always came with meals stopped coming, charging £1 just for a little chilli, I just started to resent paying and travelling that far when I was getting better for my money in other indian restaurants.

I loved what it was and wish it would go back to it because its situated in such a lovely area and the staff are really lovely.
