Great meals and carvery selection

The dessert cakes on display are amazing and you get a mahoosive slice. Even do take home boxes

Other than that it's a normal carvery style pub chain

A relaxed atmosphere in this surprisingly pleasant pub.
After several recent disasters ( cold food)
We decided to give the Chestnut tree a go.
And what a good decision that turned out to be.
The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
The food although not Michelin star rated is hot and tasty and good value.
One of our orders couldn’t be delivered because they had run out of ingredients ( mixed grill) no problem it happens, so upon our next visit to the bar we received two complimentary drinks!
Outstanding customer service!
Now that’s the way to look after your customers and ensure loyalty! It’s not rocket science!..

Called in here the other day. Menu waa basic and prices were average. The carvery looked good value but didnt fancy ot for lunch.

Probably better value than the nandos a stone's throw away though.

Stopped off for lunch after night out in Birmingham. Nice welcome from friendly staff, drinks great and my meal, which was Burger and chips was tasty, Sons meal which was lasagne was also nice, but my Wife was a little disappointed and did not want to complain as it was getting busy and were friendly, but she had ham egg and chips, it would have been delicious if it had not been swimming in oil.

Hubby and I needed to refuel after a shopping spree .
Popped in for lunch it was very busy and it was a day they were changing over fizzy drinks machines so there was no draft pops and it was Chaotic .
The food was nice and hot I had the Yorkshire wrap and hubby the pie .
The puddings are a winner here the raspberry ripple gateaux is unbelievable .
