“Another terrific stay at Mailla Garden Apartment”
Reviewed 5 July 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We recently returned from our second wonderful stay at Maiella Garden apartment. This time, we brought our son as well. We spent 5 glorious days in Rapino, basking in Jacquie and Stephen’s hospitality. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are always on hand if needed. Rapino is a small, friendly town, with several restaurants and markets within walking distance of the apartment.

The accomodation is very comfy and spotless and has every amenity that you could wish for. It is the perfect location to explore all that central Abruzzo has to offer, with easy access to both the beach and mountains. We can’t recommend Maiella Garden apartment highly enough and encourage anyone who is interested in staying in this unspoiled part of Italy to spend some time at this delightful spot. You will be very happy that you did!

“Authentic Abruzzo with modern convenience”
Reviewed 21 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed for 2 nights and wished it was for longer. Perfect area for exploring Abruzzo but nice and quiet with views of the mountains and lots of birdsong. The flat is spacious, very well equiped, comfortable and great value for money. The village is small but quaint and the locals friendly. We tried 2 of the restaurants and they were great. Our hosts were informative and welcoming,we would love to return and would highly recommend this stay.

“Modern luxury in Rapino”
Reviewed 1 February 2015 for a stay in November 2014

Lovely first impression of the modern well catered one bedroom apartment , Jaqui & Steven the owners have thought about the attention to detail. Very hospitable, informative of the area , local attractions and restaurants. Easy access to the mountains near by 20 mins to ski resort and 30 minx to beach. Great place to explore the Abruzzo area. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the owners were on hand if we needed anything. The use of the sun terrace is great where we enjoyed the local wine and took in the views Would return.

“Beautiful modern apartment in a traditional Italian town”
Reviewed 9 November 2014 for a stay in September 2014

After a hectic sightseeing tour of Rome we headed east by train to Pescara and then on to Rapino for a week in this lovely apartment. The Abruzzo region is an undiscovered gem. There a lots of beautiful beaches along the Adriatic coast and wonderful mountains to walk and ski in, both only 30 minutes from the apartment. A week was not long enough to explore the area properly.
The apartment itself is extremely well appointed. It's definitely one of the best we have stayed in. There is a private patio area just outside and the friendly owners Jacquie and Stephen allow access to their fantastic terrace. Sitting there early in the morning with a cup of coffee looking out towards the mountains is magic. The town is very much a traditional Italian town. There's an excellent pizza restaurant, cafe, post office, pharmacy and a couple of local shops. Jacquie and Stephen are very helpful without being over intrusive and are able to offer lots of suggestions as to where to visit. We just loved the area and can't wait to return to the Majella Garden apartment to continue exploring this lovely area.

“Fantastic Apartment and Hosts”
Reviewed 4 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We just spent 5 fabulous days at the terrific apartment owned by Stephen and his lovely wife Jacquie. The apartment was immaculate, cosy and as beautiful as its pictures. It is in a great location, within easy walking distance to town and two very good restaurants nearby. We especially enjoyed the large rooftop terrace, with its spectacular view of the Maiella mountains. Jacquie and Steve are very hospitable and constantly met and exceeded every need we could have imagined. They made us feel right at home. We came as guests and left as friends.

We had such a great time that we were very sorry to leave. We highly recommend Maiella garden apartment to anyone who is interested in exploring all that the area has to offer. We will surely be back!
