Parking is not that obviously signposted, but there are a lot of cars there, so use that as a signpost. The walk begins in the woodland, where the flora and fauna are wonderful. You emerge from the woodland quite quickly, where the ascent begins. It is a long, challenging and energetic walk. There are a few false peaks towards the end which makes you a little frustrated, but the views are amazing all along the walk. Getting to the top, is definitely worth it and the sense of accomplishment is amazing. Even if you can't make it all the way to the top, the views you get are worth it and can be seen having emerged from the tree line. Definitely worth it, make it as far as you can, aim for the top. Definitely wear shoes with good grip as the walk down is steep at times. Highly recommend this walk- you may even get to see some birds of prey!

Park up at the top of the coll and follow the signs. An easy rewarding slog up to the top is rewarded by magnificent views.. if you are lucky Griffon Vultures circle on thermals below you as you admire the view

Highest peak right up to Ordino with beautiful view arround and also to hoghest peak of Andorra Pic Comapedrosa.
There is possible to make circle from Ordino to Pic Casamanya and back to Ordino through Col Ordino. It is trip about 4 hours for trained hiker or runner.

From Col d'Ordino, this is about an 800m ascent to about 2,750m on a trail that is easy to follow. A few rocky places to negotiate that are actually almost easier on the way down, ceretainly easier than I thought they would be. Beautiful flowers, beautiful vistas en route, many places to sit and enjoy them.

To say that I liked Casamanya is not quite true, it is a tiring walk with a lot of false crests, however, on reaching the top, it was totally worth it. The views are amazing and even along the trail there are fantastic views of Ordino, you can literally see the entire town spread out below you. I wouldn't recommend this walk for young children, even though my four year old son did it with me. You leave the tree line quite early in the hike and then it is a pretty hard slog up to the peak, there is very little shelter and the wind can be very strong. My son didn't particularly enjoy it and he does a lot of hiking with me. However, it is one of those mountains that you have to climb (well walk up), just so you can say you have seen the view.
