We were a group of 11 friends who visited Halle mane homestay last weekend. True to its name it’s a secluded beautifully decorated village house. As soon as you reach the place , you feel the serenity and calmness. The house is very spacious with large rooms and airy dining area.

For those who are dog lovers it’s an icing on the cake as there are 2 dogs named Shadow and Mishti. Shadow really becomes your shadow during your stay there as he accompanies you wherever u go. He is such a loving dog.

Another highlight is the trekking that you do assisted by one of their representatives and accompanied by Shadow. It’s a treat to your eyes. We thoroughly loved trekking and chose to do on both the days.

In fact I asked the owner if we could rent out the place for a few months. Truly peaceful , beautiful and serene place . Would want to go there again and again.

Hale Mane offers an experience like very few other places.
It is a rustic old house done up tastefully with priceless antiques. Right from the four post cots in the rooms, to the sofas, tables, arm chairs, artefacts in the living space to the mirrors and trunks in the lobby, the house is a delight for people who love old worldly stuff. Located quite literally in the middle of nowhere amidst a green haven, it is a rejuvenating break from the madness of city life.
The super wide spread of super delicious meals curated personally by Mr Dev is the highlight of Hale Mane.
The hosts, Mr Dev and Ms Sumi are very friendly, and I wouldn't exaggerate if I say that you feel you have come to visit your relatives when you meet them. They go out of their way to make your stay very comfortable and pleasant. They come with very interesting world views, and I really enjoyed my conversations with them.
Their pet pooches - Shadow and Misty are adorable. Particularly Shadow, because he warms up easily to the guests and hangs around with them.
A short trek guided by one of the resident boys - walking through the jungle stream, climbing puny rocks, drinking natural spring water, beholding a stunning sunset - was a memorable experience.
I couldn't have asked for anything more in this quick getaway to Hale Mane. It was an outstanding stay and an absolute must-have experience. Am already planning my next visit!

Had 14 riders and 4 crew members from a Royal Enfield Store organised Ride Out, visiting this beautiful place on a saturday. The entry route to the accommodation is pretty challenging for beginner riders. The Food, Mr devrajs hospitality is simply amazing. Would bet no other homestays would serve such amazing food. The breeze, the animal sounds, you will simply enjoy the silence of the forests. A black labrador pet, shadow, she's such a sweetheart she welcomes everybody and she makes care of everyone. The place is just filled with so much of love for guests. Hats off to halemane. And thanks to mrs sumitha for helping us with the entire process. everything went so smoothly.

We were a group of 8 colleagues who wanted a weekend getaway with just enough activities to keep us occupied for a few hours and then make merry whilst having good food. We got all this and much more!
Talking to Sumitha while booking did NOT feel like a business transaction. It felt like someone welcoming us to their home. Mr. Devraj too, treated us like one of his own. We were very well taken care of.
True to its name, this property is like a old home, with tiled roof, red oxide flooring and lovely antique pieces everywhere. Great photo-ops in the place. The rooms which are for groups of 4 or 6 ppl are nicely done up and very comfortable(loved the soft mattress on the broad bed!)
The food, Oh my God, was finger-lickin' delicious. Mr. Devraj himself cooks food and does so to match to the taste of people visiting. While the lunch and dinner were both excellent, the breakfast here was fit for a King! Variety of items, all delicious!
There is a small trek that you can do as a group, were you get to cross a stream and climb up big rocks and finally enjoy an open field whilst basking in the sunset. They set up bonfire later and also served up yummy snacks! There was another group and they set up a separate bonfire for them so that way both groups got to enjoy in their own way.
You can carry any drinks you want and they also provide a fridge where you can keep them till you need it.
There is ample parking space and we were able to comfortably park our Tempo Traveller.
The hosts always see to it that you are comfortable and take really very good care of you.

Lovely property, lovely hosts, great food - best recipe for a weekend getaway :)

What a cozy experience with warm memories, the three day stay at halemane has been.
It is most recommended for a vacation that's a perfect blend of languorousness and physically stimulating treks.

The food is decadent, great hospitality in terms of the gracious host-Mr. Dev and his workers/helpers. The icing on top of the cake was the well maintained, hygienic and clean bathrooms and bed rooms.
The rustic decor is absolutely soothing.
