Highly recommended.

Beautiful grounds, great facilities, great spa, very nice pool, very nice rooms. We slept like champions, and felt quite refreshed each morning.

Short drives to fantastic restaurants.

We’ll stay here again!

Good luck!

We returned to Villa Campomaggio for the fourth year this summer. We had a wonderful stay and each year it just gets better and better.

This year they have improved the staffing levels so there are now enough staff to look after your every wish, with wonderful care and attention. From the reception who provide an efficient concierge service, to the bar and restaurant staff who bring your favourites without the need to ask! The peace and tranquility in the heart of the vineyards and olive groves of the region is perfect to rebalance you soul.

Very pretty hotel with fabulous views.

Our room was lovely and spacious, with nice decor.

The pool area was excellent. You could order food/drinks to where you were sat.

Breakfast was nice. However, we didn’t enjoy our dinner. It felt like it was re heated pasta, not fresh for either of us. There was no atmosphere as we were the only ones outside. Music would be a nice touch.

This didn’t ruin our stay though. Very enjoyable place! Thank you.

Dear Guest,
Thanks for your kind review.

We're sorry you didn't appreciate the night atmosphere of our outdoor yard during your dinner. The longue music plays in our hall and BAR area but not outside. We think the it's better to be sorrounded by the nature's songs, for instance: song of the birds, of the cicadas, of the crickets, and of the frogs from our pond.

Regarding the food we serve, we’d like to specify that our Wine BAR is not a Restaurant, but anyway we provide light and tasty dishes for lunch or for dinner. Platters of local cuts and pecorino cheeses, big salads, mixed “bruschetta“ and a wide selection of Pasta. Fresh pasta, not frozen.
All high quality local food, from the best small food companies in the Chianti.

All the staff wish best regards

A wonderful hotel. Beautiful grounds and an amazing spa. We enjoyed relaxing here in between our visits to the local area. Our room (32) was spacious and clean with wonderful dual aspect views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. Breakfasts were plentiful and varied and there is a lovely outdoor terrace. What sets this hotel apart is the friendly, helpful service. The staff could not do enough for us, including recommendations for places to eat and visit and they booked our entry to the various tourist places in Florence. We loved this hotel and would definitely come back.

I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. Beautiful grounds, spectacular view, huge room (junior suite with non-working fireplace) which also had a small private terrace. Great spa with an open air view relaxation room overlooking the Tuscan hills. Had an excellent massage there with a couple of days notice. Lovely outdoor pool with chaise lounges and umbrellas. Good selection at the breakfast buffet with typical breads/meats/cheeses, etc. but also crepes. You can eat inside or outside on a lovely terrace. Service is unobtrusive but available. Great recommendations for places to eat and things to do within a reasonable driving distance (5-20 min). There is not really anything within easy walking distance. With so many excellent nearby dining choices, we did not eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. Selections seemed somewhat limited. Well situated about an hour south of Florence and an hour north of Siena. After the hustle and bustle of Florence, this was the perfect base for a relaxing exploration of the Chianti region. I would definitely stay there again.
