This restaurant had great service and I would come back to eat here. The ambiance was calm and romantic. The portions were a little smaller than expected, but that doesn’t take anything away from the staff.

T and I visited Nu twice 12 months ago, and based on our experiences of great food and service we couldn’t wait to go back on our second night Tulum earlier this week. The service is still excellent - friendly, genuine staff. However, both our main courses were disappointing. I’d prefer not to go into detail here as all venues have off-days, but if the management from Nu would like to contact me directly I will explain further.

Fantastic meal, NU has a creative menu with beautifully cooked food and great seasoning. The waiting staff were all great- offering advice and information on the dishes and wines.
