Hidden in the middle of nowhere you find this lovely hotel with a friendly bar and good restaurants. Great location, friendly staff and beautiful rooms. All rooms carefully designed and decorated. We stayed in room 111 however all rooms are great.

Room Tip: We stayed two nights in room 111 and it was very quiet. However, I can imagine you don’t like to have a room above the outside terrace.

If you are looking for something a little bit different, look no further! A lovely quirky hotel with a wine theme. Built beside their winery, they make good use of the old barrels and bottles in the hotel's decor. We stayed two nights on our way south from Santander and enjoyed the wine tour/tasting given in (very fast, scripted) English by Carlos. We did not eat in the restaurant but enjoyed drinks and tapas in the sun on the front terrace and an evening snack in the bar, as well as good breakfasts. Good value and friendly staff. Our Roman themed room was funky, spacious and clean. The aircon worked well and the wifi was super fast. There is a fridge with free water. Nice toiletries including olive oil soap. The only slight problem was our confusion with the room lights - there were so many of them! We could not find the road on our GPS but it is very easy to find in La Vid as there seems to be only one road! It is next door to a beautiful monastery which is worth a visit also and the hotel looks out over this, a vineyard and fields - as well as the single file carparking (free). A restful place.

A school that has been transformed to a hotel and winery. There is also a restaurant of high quality there.
The hotel rooms are very unusual. All the rooms are different and have different names. In our room the shower was in one corner, the WC in another corner. The sink was in between. In the middle of the room was a bathtub on lionfeet. Very unusual, but we enjoyed the stay.
The guided tour of the winery and tasting was also very educational.

I am still here enjoying a great dinner. Lamb and wine, no kidding... few basic things but well done.

Wine and food are great. When I entered the hotel room it seemed to get in the old world.

This place is a unique esperience. Unfortunately I am here by chance on business but I would reccomend anyone to stay and enjoy.

Quality/price? Hard to believe!

Excellent quirky hotel with its own vine yards. We went on a wine tour which was very interesting and plenty of wine to taste at the end which made it more enjoyable. The hotel rooms are lovely and all themed different. Evening meal was very good especially the lamb. Would definitely return.
