Thanks to Pete & Beth for a wonderful stay at Warren Cottage. Had everything you need for a most pleasurable stay. Views overlooking stunning hillside, wonderful picturesque walks as well as the local pubs. Would definitely like to book again for next year

“Wonderful location”
Reviewed 28 October 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We couldn't believe our eyes when we arrived at the property - breathtaking views. It's a lovely place to stay - well equipped, lovely bedrooms and shower room. We were blessed with fantastic weather so spent no time in the living room; spent many hours sat on the patio area enjoying the views. The owners were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful - we were about to go out and found we had a flat tyre, my boyfriend went to ask the owners about local garages; instead of letting us take our chances, the owner came and took the wheel off himself and ran us down to a local garage who repaired it on the spot, and didn't charge a penny!!!

Really couldn't believe the generous spirit, and the 'do anything for you' kind of attitude. Lovely place, lovely views, hope to go back one day.

“Perfect for all. So much to do & so little time.”
Reviewed 22 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Just returned from a wonderful week in the orchard cottage. Your hosts try to provide you with everything so that you can relax. Although these were little things, they made you feel like family, i.e. not only did they leave chocolates on the adults beds for the first night, but little haribo for the children.
The kitchen is supplied with tea & coffee plus a little welcome basket from their own garden if in season.
The views from the patio are just amazing. We spent many an evening with a glass a wine after canoeing or hill walking.
The children were always outside either in the fields or in the barn if the weather turned damp.
The beds were very comfortable with plenty of linen & towels.
I would recommend the walk down to the local pub - Radnor Arms. The food is very good, very reasonable & plentiful. Plus the children can play in the garden while you wait for your meal. Otherwise drive to the Roast Ox Inn in Paincastle. The biggest portion of cake I have ever seen plus a wonderful cheese board.
There is so much to do, the only problem is trying to fit it into one week. Book hunting in Hay, Paragliding, mountain biking, kayaking, hill walking & horse riding.
Llanthony Priory is hidden away in the Vale of Ewyas is well worth the visit & the bar in the grounds serves amazing local beers. From here there are many routes onto the Brecon Beacons.
