Parking, bathrooms, clean, short walking possible

Parking: plenty, included overflow and handicap (small fee)
Bathrooms: typical beach toilets that flush
Recreation offerings: boards and couple other things available, beach is short but can get a few steps in
Nature: some shade, gorgeous lava rocks to touch, respect, and enjoy
Cleanliness: well kept, garbage cans accessible, water is clean, sand is clean

There are some flat surfaces to push wheel chairs or use canes. The walkways are close enough, for those who can’t do uneven surfaces, to see and hear the waves.

Good Beach

Good beach but very crowded. Not the easiest to get to if you have people in your party that have a tough time walking. Once you get to the beach it is very nice.

Gorgeous

Beautiful bay and lovely beach and good for swimming. The park has pic nic table and beach rentals. It was worth the stop it’s beautiful.

Good snorkeling

We spent a day here snorkeling. Sand was soft for Hawaii standards and the water was calm and warm. Nice place to take the family.

Like being in Paradise!

This beach is spectacular. The soft, golden sand and the many shades of blue and turquoise of the water make a stunning setting. The water is clear and warm. We got there early and it was pretty empty. Highly recommend!
