“Wow - wonderful accommodation, lovely location”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This spacious apartment is light and airy with lots of windows. Refurbished to high standard with gorgeous bathroom and lovely kitchen area with dishwasher.
Impeccably clean and well kept. Great facilities. Washing machine and dryer in entrance lobby area which is very large, stairs up to main accommodation.

Wylam is a pretty village near the river which is beautiful only 5 mins walk from apartment with some shops, pubs, cafes, bistro and station. Good buses and trains and lots to see in surrounding areas.
We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

“Outstanding property!”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Bright, clean and modern. This property is spotless and has been excellently furnished and equipped. Transport connections are great-bus stop is just outside-10 mins walk to train station-at which there is ample free parking. A great place to stay, quiet and spacious. We will certainly use this property again. We would highly recommend it! Great village with lovely residents.

“Great place to stay”
Reviewed 11 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Clean, comfortable, light and airy. Nearby village store and station 10" away. Bring your slippers as it is requested not to wear shoes inside!
It is a good base for seeing the countryside and plenty of walks nearby. We enjoyed a trip to the discovery museum, easily reached by train to Newcastle.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed 26 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed here over Easter weekend, we live in birmingham but I'm from Newcastle so we stayed here as a base so we could spend time with my family.
The cottage is in a beautiful quiet village within easy (and quick reach) of Newcastle and Gateshead. We didn't explore much as we didn't have time but we did take our 6 year old nephew to the nearby park and had a walk around there, it was lovely, everyone we passed was friendly and the walk and park were pretty.
The cottage itself was immaculate and MUCH bigger than we expected and decorated and furnished to a beautiful high standard.
We had a wonderful time at the cottage and would DEFINITELY recommend it!
Thank you for having us.

“A real Gem”

My wife and I spent 6 nights here. Being from the States, we chose to leveraged the apartments location to public transportation everyday of our stay. It worked out perfectly. Train station is a 10 minute walk, bus is a few short steps away. The local market (SPAR) was perfect for morning supplies and evening snacks as we were in Newcastle or sightseeing with friends from Newcastle everyday. We generally left each morning around 8am with a return around 9pm. Couldn't have asked for a nicer, more well equipped, clean, centrally located place to stay. It really was a perfect choice for us and exceeded our expectations and needs.
The pictures and property descriptions are absolutely spot on. The welcome folder provided all necessary info for the apartment and local area as well.
Word will get out about this property. It will soon be one that travelers from all over will enjoy just as my wife and I did late March. I'm sure this property will soon be booking fast and well in advance. Mark and Lorien have a real gem here.
