You don't have to pop to the far far away Margaret River and you could have as good as visiting. Just within the Swan Valley, less than one hour drive! The environment was so relaxing and the staff were fantastic! Make sure to more pictures taking!

Ive spent a lot of time drinking wine in the Swan Valley and I believe John Kosovich wines is one if the stand out producers.

The underground cellar, friendly down to earth service and fantastic wine make it a must visit destination when visiting the valley.

A great atmosphere and old world feel to this winery cellar. Loads of history here. We tasted some lovely wines here and bought a few. A great winery to add to any tour.

My mom is visiting from the States. When planning our visit, I asked her to highlight which wines she has not tried and Petit Verdot was highlighted. John Kosovich is one of a few wineries that make Petit Verdot in the Swan Valley, and therefore, made our list.

The winery is family-owned and run with a small car park out the front. When you enter the cellar, you're greeted by wine barrels. One of the aging muscats has sprung a slight leak and it makes the air sweet - like maple syrup. The tasting area is down the stairs in the cellar.

There is material about the history of the vineyard, and even the axe used to tame the land almost a century ago. Anthony (Arch) Kosovich was behind the tasting bar and kindly let us sample the Shiraz and Petit Verdot. Both were very acceptable. The Petit Verdot was my favourite.

After reading some reviews, I regret not trying the white wines. However, this (along with stocking up on more Petit Verdot) is enough of an excuse to return.

There are no bells and whistles with this wineries - just good wines made by good people.
