Ideal for a perfect getaway, we were met by Carmen and David who explained everything to us, supermarket, bar, restaurant and chemist all within walking distance.Pool was great lovely villa, Ideally need car for travelling but not essential as public transport is second to none.
We stayed here as a family of 5, two teenagers, a baby of nine months and us, mum & dad.
The farmhouse is average, we stayed in July so it was very hot, the ceiling fans do not cool the air, infact the bedroom with 2 single beds was unbearable to sleep in at night. After dark we couldn't have door or windows open because of the Mosquitos, there were loads!! We spent €40 on repellent, and still got bitten a lot. The wifi stopped working for a few days, Carmen the lovely manager came round two nights on the trot, at 9.15 and 9.45, although she was sorting the wifi we didn't appreciate the late night visits with a baby trying to sleep. We also had to wait in for the wifi engineer, which I wasn't happy about.
The kitchen is basic, there is also a friendly mouse so don't leave any food out for him to feast on. The salt water pool was nice and private, was also good to have the outdoor shower. Sun beds chairs and parasol needed updating but were ok.
Towels were changed a couple of time, but not the pool towels, luckily there is a washing machine.
Water pressure isn't good, so toilets don't flush sometimes.
Roof terrace is a roof with a washing line!
Having a car is a must! There is a safe which is good although I don't think there is any crime in gozo.
