Booked this place purely by looking at nice pictures on their website and was really looking forward to our first trip to Malta. Prior to arrival I rang them to request a nice top floor room in quiet area with a seaview. We arrived very late after midnight around 1.30am, receptionist (elderly English man) was nice, gave us a keys, explained all the basics and we were in our top floor room with amazing seaview in no time. Exhausted after long journey we went to bed soon after to be waken up at 7.30am by construction workers outside, drilling, banging etc, this continued whole week while we were there + one of the mornings fire alarm went off on full bell at 7am, I'm sure whole hotel was waken up with this noise. When rang to reception got a grumpy answer, don't worry, everything is OK. No apology or anything... Room was fine, all what you need (hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee making facility), apart from pillows, they were so lumpy and uneven, like never been replaced for 20 years. Towels in the bathroom were bit dated as well, some of them in strange colour after so many washes...
We had a half board, and glad we did as there absolutely nothing around within 20 min bus journey. Breakfast was OK, but dinner buffet had a lack of choice on hot food, huge range of salads though. Most of the waiters quite grumpy and unhelpful apart from Lukas who was there most of the days and was really nice to all the guests.
For two days main outdoor swimming pool was left with no water in it, very dangerous especially if small kids were around.
Location is great if you really want to spend all the time in the hotel only otherwise you will feel isolated from other world, also the entertainment in the lobby every evening was quite boring. Internet was free only in the lobby but very poor connection, massive €6 per day if you want to use it in the room and it was quite slow as well. Had a feeling we were back in 1995 :)
Good there was a bus stop right outside the hotel with busses operating all day within few minutes, 5 min walk to ferry terminal.
I'd say we will choose a more civilised place for our future trip to Malta.

Arrived April 14 for my wife's bday to a nice bottle of local white wine. Can't compliment the staff enough. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, one doesn't need gourmet food all the time, just a good kick start to your day. As for the hotel itself, toilet smelt of chlorine the entire time, needs a bit of upgrading as most posters have noted, more like for EU standards, a 3 star hotel not 4. All in all, we didn't live at the hotel just slept, so it was worth the price we paid.

This is is not a hotel where you want to spend your holiday after working a whole year.
The room was dirty, hairs and spots on the bed and the bathroom had a lot of mould.
Personal at the reception wasn't in a good mood at all and not even pleased to give you
a good service and a friendly smile.

Room 383 fair size very basic fittings sea view spoiled by looking over a poorly repaired swimming pool roof.

Quite decent sized ANTS inhabit this room
Bathroom has window , outside numerous water pipes etc.

Very disappointing room AVOID.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms around number 383

Please note that this is the worst experience for our family with this hotel.
Please don't waste your money on garbage
Be careful, see view is street view with horubol cars, motorcycls horn noise, you cannot even sleep.
We found a stool on our bed sheets, we inform the managers, room service not even 1* hotel.
No bed sheets were changed, our cups were washed, no change.
The ventilation is broken and not repaired since longtime.
I took many pictures for our room please contact me if you need more information.
