“Stylish & spacious base for cycling trips”
Reviewed 27 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Lupe's house in the quiet town of Arona is very generously proportioned. Our party was seven guys on a cycling trip but the living areas are large enough that if there were twice as many bedrooms they'd still have been comfortable for everybody. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The heated pool was a little cool for January but I imagine that's a bonus in the warmer months. The rooms are filled with treasures that give the house personality and character. An internal courtyard makes it convenient for a cycling group and it's position at 600m elevation, away from the more touristy parts of the island, makes for great training rides. Just leave something in your legs for the climb back up to Arona. I would also suggest a rental car as the town (in January) didn't offer much choice of shops and restaurants.

“Beautiful Home”
Reviewed 5 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The pictures do not show the grandeur of this house or the outside space. The pool is a lovely cool haven in the late July heat. As with a previous reviewer, we were shown around by a lovely Spanish lady who knew little English and with our little knowledge of Spanish it did prove a little awkward. However, Guadalupe answered all of my email queries almost immediately...and in English. Our teenage daughter had enough space to avoid us, as and when she wanted and I'm sure she entertained the neighbours with the keyboard, in the snug, and her many versions of 'happy birthday'! If the house was locked up all day, upstairs was extremely stuffy but easily resolved with the windows open...just remember the mosquito repellant. Overall a fantastic week in a beautiful home.

“What an incredible property full of history and local culture with modern kitchen and bathrooms.”
Reviewed 28 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Los Hermanos for a few nights in July. It was the most interesting place I have every stayed on vacation. From the outside, it was the most unassuming looking home. The neighborhood was very quiet and traditional Arona.
Inside the property, the house was quite exquisite. It was full of reclaimed wood (teak?) and the history of the house was just fascinating. The most important aspect of the house was the kitchen and bathrooms were very modern but flowed very well with the older home.
The garden was quite large and so there was plenty of room to relax, read, have an early morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. Speaking of wine, the kitchen was stocked with nice amenities as nice quality wine glasses, coffee cups, plates, etc.
The pool was located in the garden but in a "cave" so it was enclosed which made the water a little chilly without sunlight.
The bedrooms were quite nice and the floors in the rustic reclaimed teak wood. The kids absolutely loved the keyboard to play music. We had some of the tunes engrained in our head for weeks after our visit.
The wifi was very stable and covered the majority of the large property. The owner, pool man, cleaning crew were so very nice and helpful.
There are at least 3 markets to get food, water, and supplies from within a couple blocks which was quite nice and walkable. There is also a park for children down the street that was almost finished being remodeled when we were there.
There was much to explore within walking of the house but easily accessible was El Teide and some nice Fincas (farms) Bodegas (wineries) a short ride up the mountain.
Would definitely recommend this house.
The only drawbacks are the pool being a little cool and there was no door to close/lock as we have younger children, we had to keep an ear and eye on them.

“Unique, Roomy and Lovely”
Reviewed 29 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My husband and I were very excited to stay in Arona and experience the island through a more local experience. Arona was quiet and sweet and was a lovely location with easy access to main attractions. Our apartment was more of the same. It's a very unique barn conversion with plenty of room and get amenities. We did give the review an average rating for a couple of reasons. We were welcomed to the apartment by who we assume were the owners. Two very sweet people but they did not speak any English which made it very hard to ask questions. We also selected this apartment mainly because it has an indoor heated pool. When we arrived the pool was definitely not heated. We did contact the POC who did make arrangements to get someone out to fix it but once that was done our short 3 day stay was down to one. We also didn't see any toiletries which were also mentioned in the description of the apartment. Luckily a small grocery store was very close so we could buy these items ourself. Overall this apartment is beautiful and very roomy we just wish we would've been considered more than just an afterthought.
