After 2 desappointing stays in Paris and one in London, this was a relief to arrive to Le Moulin,
Ducey is a small village close to Mt Saint Michel with somehow reduced commodities (but with a couple of chemists).
Le Moulin has a large private car park just accross the road and although it is not locked, it is still secure. After being attended by a friendly young lady at the reception we were shown our room.
Large by any standard, fairly modern equipement and free Wi-fi would be a quick description. But it is a whole lot more than that. The attitude of the staff is remarkable. They will promply print maps, "google" a place for you, give opinion on how to get the best of your stay. The breakfast was extra but sufficient. The breakfast room was maintained by the owner(s) of the hotel and they made sure that nothing was amiss. Been told that although breakfast officially finishes at 10:00 anyone arriving late would be still served and they were only happy when customers smile. And the baguette could not be any fresher!
Was sorry to leave after only one night to continue our journey.
