Simply perfect if you are visiting Knokke. Very comfy bed. Good shower pressure. Everything works well in the room. Friendly folk. Hearty breakfast, if you wish. Very friendly staff. 3mins to the promenade and Grand Casino. ALL GOOD. Will be going back.

Its the sort of place you book when nothing else is available. Nothing seriously wrong with it ...the beds are comfortable (mattress on slats not box springs), The room size is perfectly adequate, its just 2 blocks from the "digue", in a quiet location. Breakfast is good , meals ( you must reserve) from set menu are good . But moving on from the good points you want to make sure you can fit in the bathroom which is minuscule, you can cope with the outdated ugly furniture throughout , you don't end up with a crook neck by watching the TV almost on the ceiling and you can cope with the rooms fluorescent lighting and sharp edges near the bed. Leave aside the inadequate WiFi and no kettle. And don't ever try the stool in the bathroom which the cleaner said was for decoration only as it collapses! But lets face it ...beggars can't be choosers ...the price was right for the high season and the absolutely charming lady at reception makes it almost worth while!

Room Tip: All pretty much the same ...quiet

Had only one night stay at Lido in first week of May. Nice room, confy bed and professional staff. They are having free parking and a nice terrace in front of the hotel where you can have your coffee in a quiet area. Hotel's spot is not so far from shopping area or sea side.

We have stayed at the Lido several times whilst visiting Knokke, it's location is very good, only 1 street back from the promenade. It is a 'no frills' kind of place, and is perfect if you want a clean warm place to sleep, with a good breakfast. Rooms are basic but comfortable and the shower was very good. Some rooms are in need of updating, my sister's room had a shower that wasn't attached to the wall, which wasn't very convenient, as she had to wash her hair hanging over the side of the bath. No bar but staff are happy to serve you drinks in the lounge. Some very nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity too. Overall good value for money. We will visit again.

Very well located, not luxurious, but with all the amenities. Simple but comfortable rooms. An excellent quality-price ratio. Realy helpful & friendly personnel. Excellent breakfast. The free bikes are wonderful, ask for the "knooppunten" map to bike through the most beautiful scenery . We made & trip of 58km via Cadzand, Sluis, Damme and back.
