I stayed here for three nights in April and It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
It is located very close to the railway station, with regular trains to Rome Termini and Ciampino.
OK, there are a few stairs to get to the street level for the hotel and central Frascati, and these would not be ideal for anyone with mobility problems, but otherwise the hotel is easy to reach from the station.
The hotel is very well situated with views of the countryside from the rear bedroom balconies and terraces.
The rooms are clean, well.decorated, and simply furnished with extremely good bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable.
The staff were, without exception, friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast is Italian style, so please do not expect a huge breakfast buffet with bacon, eggs, sausages etc. Perfectly adequate though and of a high standard with friendly waiting staff.
I will certainly be visiting this hotel again, and would recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Rome. It was a pleasure to get out of the city at the end of a tiring day, and enjoy the views of the countryside during the 30 minute journey back to Frascati.
I would also recommend the hotel restaurant. We had two excellent meals here.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony or, even better, a terrace.

I spent two nights in Cacciani Hotel during February 2017. The hotel is located next to the city center. It is not easy to reach with the car if you are not used to the narrow streets. The hotel offer 2 to 3 parking lots, otherwise the only possibility is to park in the common parking slots, that are free only during the night. The staff has been excellent, very warm and friendly. The hotel room is a bit old but nice. The service and amenities are clean and efficient. The bed very comfortable. The breakfast is good but not excellent, the quality could be improved but the choice is quite big. I recommend this hotel in case you are planning to spend some night in Frascati

Just back from another relaxing visit to Frascati staying at Cacciani's. We have returned to this family hotel most years since our daughter's wedding reception there 10 years ago, drawn back by the friendly Cacciani family and staff, and the superb food and wine.

This long standing family run hotel is perfect. It's decor might be Italy 1980s but the quality of service, cleanliness, and retro chic make it a delight. And did I mention he views? Out to Rome? Oh and the restaurant of the same name, one of the best in Frascati? Retro chic? There's a picture of Clark Gable eating here. Give it go. Sensational.

Stayed here for 4 nights as an alternative to central Rome, and we got a lot more for our money. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station from where the train takes 30 minutes and costs €2.50. There are lots of restaurants close by. Our room was very spacious and clean with a lovely modern bathroom. We had a massive balcony with table and chairs. The breakfast was very good with all the usual cheese, ham eggs and breads plus frittata, lovely sweet tomatoes and nice cakes each morning.
The staff, especially Daniela was very helpful. We had an emergency with my 'Mother if the Bride' outfit and Daniela wrote out a note for us to take to the dry cleaners. A man whose name we didn't get but thought he may have been a porter or maintainance, was also really helpful.
Would definitely stay in Frascati and at this hotel again, we loved coming back here after a day sightseeing in Rome and in comparison with Rome hotels we felt we got much more for our money

Room Tip: Room 27 has a large balcony/terrace
